Vampire Facial

Vampire Facial at Saarthak Dental Clinic and Aesthetic Care
The “Vampire Facial,” also known as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy, is a popular cosmetic treatment that harnesses the healing power of your own blood to rejuvenate and refresh your skin. At Saarthak Dental Clinic, we are committed to providing cutting-edge aesthetic treatments to help you achieve your skincare goals.
What is a Vampire Facial?
A Vampire Facial involves drawing a small amount of your blood, processing it to extract the platelets, and then injecting or applying this concentrated plasma back into your skin. The platelets contain growth factors that promote healing, collagen production, and skin regeneration, resulting in a more youthful and radiant appearance.
Benefits of Vampire Facial
- Skin Rejuvenation: The growth factors in PRP stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, improving skin texture and elasticity.
- Reduces Fine Lines and Wrinkles: This treatment can minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and crow’s feet.
- Improves Skin Tone: A Vampire Facial can enhance the overall skin tone, making it look healthier and more vibrant.
- Treats Scarring: It can be beneficial for reducing the appearance of acne scars and other types of scarring.
- Minimally Invasive: The procedure is non-surgical and requires minimal downtime, making it a convenient option for busy individuals.
The Vampire Facial Procedure
Consultation: Dr. Priyanka S Mujumdar will conduct an initial consultation to evaluate your skin concerns and determine if the Vampire Facial is suitable for you.
Blood Draw: A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm, similar to a routine blood test.
Processing: The blood is placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the other components. This process isolates the platelet-rich plasma.
Application: Once the PRP is ready, it can be injected into targeted areas of your face or applied topically using microdermabrasion or microneedling for enhanced absorption.
Post-Treatment Care: You may experience slight redness or swelling at the treatment sites, but this typically subsides within a few hours. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided to ensure optimal results.
